Red Hot Poker Tour - Monday Walper Game

Had a decent night. Was playing really loose due to my obligations to my bowling team on mondays. So I wasn't afraid to go out early.

Got short stacked early due to a brutal river card on a hand that had me counterfeited on the river. was ahead the entire time until then.

Made most of my chips stack back later on a donkey call preflop. Had 85 offsuit in the UTG+1 position. Limped in for $100. Couple folds. Cutoff raises to $350, Button, SB, BB all fold UTG calls since he was the original limper. I make a donkey call with my crap in bad position only because it was $250 to win $800 so almost 3-1. Flop comes 4dKh6h. UTG checks. I check, with my gut shot straight draw. Cutoff bets $400 making the pot a total of $1550. UTG folds. Again i'm getting about 3-1 to call and as I said I'm playing loose and have somewhere to be, so I make the call. pot is at $1950. Turn comes 3c. I check, Cutoff checks giving me the free river card. River is a 2c giving me my 6 high straight. I have about $1250 I shove ALL-IN. He calls with a set of Kings. Of course he Hellmuths me. I warned everyone at the table before we started that I was playing, and well it's also a free bar league so why is her crying, he didn't lose any real money.

I keep my stack around $4000-8000 for the while. I finally get the call that my ride is on the way. So now is the time to dump chips on purpose to players. That way i don't have to hand them in. First hand at this point I am UTG. Blinds are at $100-$200. I raise to $700. UTG+1 and +2 fold. Highjack calls, cutoff folds, as do button and SB. BB raises ALL-IN for $5200. I know I have to dump chips and easiest way is to call, so I do. Everyone else folds. I am sorta hoping he has a mid pocket pair. He turns over AK to my AQ. Board comes up low cards rainbow. Neither of us hit, his K plays. I am out.

I estimate I went out somewhere around 18th-20th.

than i went and bowled a 103, and a 104. So was a good night.
